This is a split single featuring two bands from Macau, an island off of the south coast of China that, until 1999, was a Portuguese colony. It is now part of China again but has a similar status to Hong Kong. La Haine sing in Portuguese and Dongfang Hong (Eastern Red) sing in one of the Chinese languages (sorry, don't know which one - any help appreciated). Both recordings were made under 'difficult' circumstances and aren't super high quality, but they're at least as good as any other punk demo you've ever heard!

Excuses for taking the liberty to make a suggestion, but you should try "A Dream In Our Hearts" by the chinese band Si Dou Le ! It can still be found in (very) few places (& i think i used to have a second copy somewhere) - great punk, great lyrics-sheet story!

I've got a mate who pointed me in the direction of the label a couple of years back - I borrowed and ripped these from him as they'd already sold out, but I've ordered other bits and bobs since and have never been less than impressed.
